Here are some of the latest trends I have found for bathroom design:

Freestyle furniture: Sinks and cabinets that look like a piece of furniture and tubs with paneled exterior bring class to the bathroom making it a showpiece within itself. Freestyle bathroom cabinetry/ furniture are found in many finishes and styles.

Tub-side televisions: Women everywhere will have to fight men and children for bathtub time. It is a miracle I never thought would happen. Multi media (including internet) is also turning up next to the bathtub. I can see myself turning into a prune right now. All I would need after that is a bathroom microwave and fridge and I would never come out.

Bathroom Fireplace: The dawn of direct vent fireplaces has made room for bringing fireplaces into the bathroom. I am seriously coveting right now. I am once again imagining living in the bathtub forever.

Walk in bathtubs: While I do not like the idea of getting in the bathtub before the water is at proper temperature and level, there are many people who do not have any other choice. In addition, these tubs are just the right size to install where there had previously been only a shower.
